Our thesis is simple: marketplaces taking 10 to 20% commission on every freelance mission are extracting value, not creating it. We are building the opposite.
For the last decade, freelance marketplaces have followed the same playbook: insert themselves between freelancers and clients, charge a percentage on every mission, and hold the contractual relationship hostage. On a €5,000/month contract, a 15% commission means €9,000/year goes to the platform, for what is essentially a database lookup.
It works for the platform. It does not work for the freelancers (who lose margin) or for the companies (who pay above-market rates because the platform's cut is baked in). The result: an extractive layer that became necessary because freelancers had no efficient way to source their own missions.
Mission Freelances was founded in November 2025 by Julien Déniel, Yoan Déniel and Stéphanie Jouin to remove that layer.
We aggregate freelance missions from the leading sources in each country we operate in, and aggregate them in a single feed updated three times a day. For 78% of those missions, we also identify and provide the direct contact of the decision-maker: professional email, LinkedIn profile, sometimes phone number.
The freelancer prospects directly. The company hires directly. The contractual relationship is between them. We are the prospecting tool, never the middleman.
Pricing is a flat monthly subscription. Zero commission. Always.
